Ava Timothy Kelly was born on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 1213pm. She weighed 9 lbs., 6 oz., and is 21 inches. She has had a generally good disposition, even when her brother is poking her. Zambrano, to his credit, has been wonderfully enthusiastic about the new arrival of "Bay-bee"and learned a new word: gentle.

The Kellys Go on Vacation and Take Two Pictures

The Kellys went to visit the Gropen-Nystroms in Minneapolis over Memorial Day. Fun was had by all as Zambrano and Greta (Baby G) watched their parents chat, burn chicken (it wasn't that burnt), and look for a breakfast spot.
On the way home, we were ready to pull over in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to feed the boy. Unfortunately, the sky was green, and the tornado sirens were ringing, so we pulled right next to a closed family restaurant, hoped this wasn't how we would die, and warmed our pal's dinner on the car's heater. Eventually, the skies sorta brightened, and we got home.


Totally unfazed...if he were older, he would've been scared too.

Greta is surprised to see herself at Psycho Suzi's, while Zammy keeps watch on the front door. Cousin Maggy (not pictured, like Greg, Shelley and Sverre) also joined us for lunch Sunday.
